The Big Picture Traveling Museum presents a
new museum - Math Carnival!
- Grades 3 - 6 for 2011 - 2012 school year.
Grades 3 - 8 for 2012 - 2013 school year.
- Unique, interactive, hands-on math activities in carnival game booth form.
- Based on the New York State math exam.
- Small groups of students engage in fun and challenging math tasks to
earn their classes tokens - exchanged for treats at the end!
- All game booths adapted specifically to each grade level.
- Exhibit sets up in a large space at your school.
- Hour and a half workshops for two classes at a time.
- 2011-2012 exhibit is comprised of math games coordinated
with both the NYS math exam and Core Curriculum math.
2012-2013 exhibit transitions to all Core Curriculum math.
